Baking our way through the Summer Hol’s

Well the children have broken up for the Summer holidays and there are long and hazy days ahead of us. I am praying for the sun to shine so that we can make use of the beach which is only a 10 minute walk from us and hope that we can have picnics in the countryside. When all else fails we will craft, sew and bake (well the teen will eat what we bake,he won’t craft or sew !!) we have already started baking and my 12 year old baked some tasty scones and has made some tiffin already.
Here are her scones and how to make them. You will need –

  2. They look great, really appetizing. Josh got in the kitchen again yesterday. This is the point where I groan! If I can get him to use a recipe he has to alter it! It was a cookie cake yesterday! I hope you have really lovely hols together. xx
