This morning I made a cake for this afternoons teatime and tomorrows lunch-boxes….
It is a lemon cake made using plain yogurt so its not a crumbly cake its slightly denser but tastes wonderful and yes it does have pink glitter on it as my daughter loves a little glitter,I hope her brother won’t mind when he has it in his lunch box tomorrow !
Then after the boring stuff (housework) I settled down in my favourite chair with a slice of my cake and did a little embroidery….
Now as I write this my daughter is using the sewing machine to do her textiles homework and she is screaming at the machine for going to fast !!!!
Right I am of to cook dinner and explain the sewing machine to my daughter, so till next time,Tabitha

Have fun with your daughter and the sewing machine. My machine has two speeds, super fast or off! So frustrating when doing top stitching or other stitches that need a little more care! The cake looks delicious 🙂

My machine has 3 speeds and it was on the slowest but even that felt a little fast for her ! 🙂

Cake and embroidery – lovely – I was going to say relaxing, but I don’t suppose the screaming allowed that. Hopefully your daughter will make friends with the machine soon.

Ha ha I know she was a nightmare but she normally uses the machine & is fine but because it was homework and not something she would choose to make she didn’t have the want to,to do it !
